Herring Realty, a division of Herring Companies, LLC, is a locally owned and operated real estate agency located in historic Eufaula, Alabama. Founded by the late Joe Herring, the agency is now owned and operated by his wife of 46 years, Jackie Herring, who continues to carry on his legacy of dedication, integrity, and service to the community.
Joe enjoyed a successful real estate career spanning nearly 25 years, building lasting relationships and earning the trust of clients throughout the Greater Eufaula area. After retiring from a 35-year career with the State of Alabama, Jackie joined him in the real estate business. With more than a decade of experience, she now serves as the Qualifying Broker for Herring Realty, continuing the tradition of personalized service and commitment to clients that has defined the agency from the beginning.
Both Joe and Jackie have deep roots in Southeast Alabama. Joe grew up in Abbeville, where he graduated from Abbeville High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting from Troy University. Jackie was born and raised in Eufaula and graduated from Eufaula High School. Together, they built their life in Eufaula, raising their three sons and establishing strong connections throughout the community they proudly called home.
Over the years, Herring Realty has earned a reputation for excellence in the local real estate market. The agency has been voted Eufaula’s Favorite Real Estate Agency on multiple occasions, while Jackie has been recognized numerous times as Eufaula’s Favorite Realtor. She has also served as Vice President of the Eufaula Board of Realtors and has received multiple honors as a member of the Million Dollar Club and as a Multi-Million Dollar Producer.
While Joe’s presence is deeply missed, his legacy remains an important part of Herring Realty. The values he established continue to guide the agency as Jackie and the Herring Realty team serve buyers and sellers throughout Eufaula and the surrounding communities.
